Forest nectar-honeydew honey is made from the nectar of melliferous plants as well as coniferous or deciduous honeydew and combines the aromas of flowers with the gentleness of honeydew honey.
Thanks to the combination of nectar and honeydew, it obtains a very diversified composition and quite a high nutritional value. It is characterized by a high content of enzymes, which are responsible for the anti-inflammatory action of honey, thanks to which it shows antibiotic activity. This effect is particularly evident from honeys coming from mountainous areas. It is brown in color with a slight greenish shade. The taste depends on the type of flowers from which the nectar comes from, however, thanks to the admixture of honeydew, it has always a mild flavor.
